Slash Commands

Hytale DiscordSync registers native Discord Slash Commands, allowing your community members to check server status without needing in-game access.

/status Command

The /status slash command generates an interactive, high-detail embed showing live server statistics:

  • Server Header & Icon: Displays serverName and serverIcon as thumbnail.
  • Title & Description: Configurable title and server IP / version.
  • Live Player Count: Displays **Online** / Max players (e.g. **12** / 100).
  • Server Status: Online indicator (🟢 Status: Online).
  • Region: Default server region (e.g. LATAM, NA, EU).
  • Banner Image: Large server banner image displayed at the bottom (serverBanner).
  • Footer & Requester: Includes user avatar and timestamp of when the command was run.

Command Registration

The slash command is registered automatically when the bot connects to Discord:

[DiscordSync] Bot connected as: YourBotName

[!NOTE] Ensure your bot has the applications.commands OAuth2 scope enabled in the Discord Developer Portal so it has permission to register global slash commands.
